Jesus said, "Let
the little
children come
to me, and do
not hinder
them, for the
kingdom of
heaven
belongs to such
as these."
About CCCMD Children Ministry
Many of the children at CCCMD were born into the church, while others are
the first ones in their family to come.  It is often in these early years that
children accept Jesus as their Savior, so we desire to provide a solid
foundation for their entire Christian life. As they come week after week, we
ask God to help us bless them, and teach them to bless each other.

The Lower School consists of children ages 3 to 6.  Our goals for the
children in Lower School are for them to:
  • know that God loves them
  • know the Salvation (through the Wordless Book)
  • learn to sing and worship God

The Upper School consists of children ages 7 to 11.  Our goals for the
children in Upper School are for them to:
  • start to develop a daily devotional habit (using "Keys for Kids").
This includes reading the Bible daily, writing down their favorite
verse from their reading that day, and praying daily.
  • start to learn Bible truth/doctrine (i.e. the Apostle's Creed)
  • memorize as many Bible verses as possible
  • learn to fellowship with other Christian friends
  • learn to worship God and serve God by singing, playing
instruments, acting in a play, helping teachers with classroom
    chores, etc.

We have Children's Sunday school classes every Sunday from 10:00 to 10:
40 a.m.  The Sunday school classes are divided into:
  • Kindergarten/Preschool (ages 3 to 6)
  • Middler (ages 7 to 9)
  • Junior (ages 10 to 11)

The children join the adults in worship from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. and then
return for Children’s Worship class from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  Worship is
divided into Lower school and Upper school.

Every Friday night, we have a Children's Program for those ages 5 to 11
from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.  The children start by joining the adults for a time
of worship (8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.), then separate to have their own time of
Bible study, stories, crafts, games and fellowship.

Each Sunday school teacher is serious about his/her commitment to these
children.  The teachers show real faith, with persistence in prayer, both in
and out of church, believing that one day these seeds that are sown will
bear much fruit.
